Important: The standard calculations generated by HiTHERM in regards to Personnel Protection are completed with the understanding that the general minimum temperature used to avoid injury within the Mechanical Insulation industry is 140°F. Our calculations use this temperature to determine minimum thickness required for personnel protection. If you would like to use a lower temperature, please be sure to state this in the comment section of the Calculation Submittal Form, or when you speak with your local representative.
