HT-450^® Polyisocyanurate Insulation

HT-450^® is a rigid closed cellular 2.5# nominal density polyisocyanurate that is manufactured in buns for fabrication into a variety of shapes and sizes that include, but are not limited to: piping, fittings, valves, curved-side-segments and many others.

HT-450 is a high temperature polyiso with proprietary technology and is the only one of its kind on the market. HT-450 is unique in the fact that it can maintain its performance values up to +400°F, no other polyiso manufacturer has been able to achieve this on their own. Not only does the HT-450 reach temperatures other leading manufacturers have not, it also boasts a k-factor of 0.18 BTU-in/hr-ft² -°F aged 90 days at 140°F. These qualities make HT-450 an excellent candidate for industrial applications on low, medium and some high pressure steam lines in lieu of cellular glass, mineral wool and calcium silicates that have much higher k-factors. (Remember: When talking about insulation, the lower the k-factor, the better the insulating efficiency)
